The official opening of Sass & Bide in the Claremont Quarter on the 18th of May was a special night for Perth’s most stylish.
Sarah-Jane, also known as the “Sass” half of the duo’s renowned label, also attended the event. This marveled her admirers’ who adore the edgy signature collections she creates with her “Bide” partner, Heidi Middleton.
As a self-proclaimed fan myself, opening their second store in Perth (the other store being on Kings Street in the Perth CBD) is music to my ears!
Never have I seen so many people in the same place wear such flamboyantly crafted and highly envy-worthy outfits. Perth fashionistas definitely have no fear when it comes to flaunt their own incredible Sass & Bide style!
People were rocking a range of clothing that was embellished with an assortment of unlikely details such as feathers, shells, raffia and metal. No kinds of materials are off-limits to Sarah-Jane and Heidi when designing their breathtaking Sass & bide garments.
From beginning their life in the fashion world as selling jeans at a stall on London’s Portobello Road Market in 1999, Sarah-Jane and Heidi have managed to become a worldwide sensation of original style.
